Grayson Prayer Walk

Last night, several churches and ministries gathered at Grayson High School with the sole (or soul) purpose of praying over the school, the students and the faculty.

One of the organizers had these rubber bracelets made:

Yep...He sure does!

The evening started outside near the flagpole with a time of group prayer and worship.

Then they moved inside and prayed everywhere...

Classroom doors...

Students' lockers...

And in the commons area.

They ended with another time of group prayer in the gym.

And, can we just revisit this kid...

Maybe it's because I am a Young Life leader but it encourages my heart to see students praying for their schools!!!

Midtown Community Church

Midtown Community Church (my other church) hosts a dinner every Sunday evening before the service. I went down and shot the first dinner of the year this past week...so fun!

So much to do!

Ready for the hungry masses...

Low Country Boil...the food is poured out right on the table!

The evening service...it is SO exciting to see this building packed out!

Connections Fair

Yesterday, my church (Grace Fellowship Church) held the first of two weeks we call the Connections Fair. It's designed for church members and attenders to get "connected" with various ministries and Bible studies. Of course, I had my camera out for the event.

Yesterday was also the "back to school" Sunday and we were PACKED! This is our lobby during the first service...
